I'm home for the summer.  I leave for camp in like a month.  In that time I will post things.  My sister says I have to post all of my drawings of Star Trek men in dresses (yes I have finally gone there).  I'm working on some Doctor Who stuff too, now that I've watched it.  I've been crocheting like crazy, so maybe some of that will go up, as well as some of my jewelry.

I become an obsessive fan of things waaaay too easily.

I got the Starfleet uniform pattern today.

So I'm planning a Captain Janeway cosplay for Halloween/Big Apple Comic Con (might not happen - the pattern is shipping from California, so it might take a few weeks to get to New Jersey ><*).  I already have a combadge and boots, and I plan on going fabric shopping this weekend, so all I really need are some nice rank pips, right?  

Wrong.

While looking through some refs, I remembered that Kate Mulgrew's eyes are blue.  I figured, okay, that's easy, I'll just get some non-prescription blue contacts off the internet, right?

Wrong.

Apparently you need a prescription for non-prescription contacts.

FML.

*If Captain Janeway isn't ready, I may just wear the Kyoshi Warrior costume again.  Incidentally, is Avatar appropriate cosplay material for a comic con?

I don't care what anyone (Jeremy) says.  Voyager is a fantastic show.  There should be more fanart and cosplay.  But less Janeway/Seven, because that ship is just odd.  Replace it with Tom/Harry!  It's adorable!

Anyway, yeah.  I love Voyager and will probably be writing some fic of it soon.  And now I bring you my annual post-camp uploads.  They're quite crazy this year.
